About Us
New World Ceramic, Mosaic & Stone, Inc. was formed by the unique partnership of Joana and Daniel Meagher in 1994, working together with their respective talents in the decorative and fine arts and tile and marble craftsmanship.
Through the years the Meaghers have built the company into one of Florida's most prolific and artistic mosaic producers. Working with major companies in the entertainment and hospitality field, as well as designers and architects on the most demanding projects, New World Ceramic, Mosaic & Stone has become known for the consistent quality of their work.
Joana Meagher’s personal history of artistic heritage provides her with unique abilities and insight into the field of decorative artwork. Her professional career started as a structural engineer but coming from a four generation family of artists she chose to utilize her European painting and decorative art studies to continue the family artistic tradition. One of her family's contributions was designing and providing highly artistic decorative art objects for the Presidential Palace in Bucharest, Romania.
Joana's work has been recognized by industry and by her peers. She has been invited to provide work for many prestigious projects both commercial and residential.
Daniel Meagher began working in the tile and marble installation field in the family business. The traditions of skilled craftsmanship that he has applied to his trade has enabled him to build a successful business in the Orlando area for the last 25 years. Daniel's technical expertise and aesthetic judgement has enabled New World Ceramic to provide installation services of the highest caliber in the most demanding projects in Florida.
Daniel has received numerous awards for his work, including several "Best Of" awards for Street of Dreams projects and HBA sponsored Parade of Homes awards.
Daniel spends his spare time exploring Florida's springs or climbing the nearest mountain.
